HSE Audit, Continuous Improvement & Final Assessment
Chapter completion checklist
What this chapter covers
The capstone chapter brings the entire diploma full circle. We start with the theory and practice of HSE auditing — first-party, second-party and third-party audits, how to scope an audit, how to write objective evidence statements, and how to grade non-conformances by severity. We then walk through the lead-auditor's mindset during fieldwork: the rhythm of opening meetings, sampling, evidence triangulation, exit briefings and final report writing. Continuous improvement closes the loop: how audit findings feed back into management review and the next PDCA cycle. The chapter ends with the Final Assessment — a 50-question multi-chapter examination covering the entire diploma, with a 70% pass mark, after which the diploma certificate is issued.
